Il a été developpé du 7 au 18 octobre 2002 à l ‘Université du Bauhaus à Weimar , Allemagne ,
pendant un atelier sur les Environnements Virtuels  3D interactifs .

It  was developed October 7 - 18, 2002 at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar, Germany
during a workshop on Interactive 3D Virtual Reality Environments.

L’atelier était conduit par Tamiko Thiel et par Peter Graf , ingénieur en réseaux .

Les visiteurs - spectateurs peuvent cliquer et glisser les images - chaque image ayant son propre son - pour ensemble construire et déconstruire le monde .
La technologie  VRML , avec sa possibilité d’évènements partagés , permet aux participants de collaborer en créant un environnment visuel en temps réel .

Participants are able to click-and-drag images – each image changing its own audio mantra – to both construct and deconstruct the world.
Shared event VRML technology enables participants
to collaboratively create a visual environment in real time.

Initialement les images ne venaient que des sources offertes par les créateurs ,
mais Tamiko raconte que ” pendant que la session se déroulait , les participants cherchèrent d’autres images sur Internet ,
allant au delà de notre thème mais pour des résultats visuels très intéressants .
L’outil lui-même devenant un moyen de subvertir le pouvoir et les capacités de contôle des créateurs .”

Initially the images came only from the directories  provided by the creators.
Tamiko tells that
“As the event progressed, participants searched the Internet for other images,
leading inevitably to a loosening of our theme but with very interesting visual results.
The tool itself became a way to subvert the power and the control of its creators. ”
